In the process....

My Elder Sister V gifted me this really cute Perlen-Bastel set (A beautiful box of different kinds of beads from www.nkd.com from Germany.
I should have taken a picture of the box before I started making the jewellry. Anyways, I was so excited that I just wanted to complete everything. Atleast I took a picture while making the necklace. :-)
I will upload the pictures of finished ones in the next post....till then tata! Have a great weekend!

From my Sketchbook!

The first one is of an Indian actress...any guesses????....well actually I had received a forwarded mail from one of my friends to take a look at the drawings by an unknown artist...I dont know who that artist is....but to practice I sketched this one by seeing that drawing...The original one by the unknown artist was better I feel.
This sketch of Mahatma Gandhiji I learnt from a portrait book. U can purchase many books to learn sketching from. There are many types like Landscapes, Temples, Portraits, Nature.....etc..

Oil on Canvas

This is a reproduction of Georgia O'Keeffe 's The White Trumpet Flower. The medium is Oil on canvas. I did this way back in 2001 and gifted it to my sister Vasu when i visited her place. Since I painted it long back, I realise that I could have painted it better now! :-) but hey every one learns from their mistakes right?????

NOTE: Priyanka , Easycrafts and Priti have passed me the award "Blogging friends forever". Thank you so much girls. Its been a great pleasure knowing you all!
